Discussion of a master’s thesis entitled (The effect of biological and organic fertilizer on the carbon and nitrogen of biomass and enzymatic activity in soil planted with broccoli plants) at the College of Agriculture at Al-Qadisiyah University.

I discussed the master’s thesis by the student (Alia Mohsen Abdel Reda) for her thesis entitled (The effect of biological and organic fertilizer on biomass carbon and nitrogen and enzymatic activity in soil planted with broccoli plants) in the College of Agriculture at Al-Qadisiyah University, Department of Soil and Water Resources.

The discussion committee consisted of distinguished professors

1_ Prof. Dr. Fares Muhammad Suhail/Soil Sciences and Water Resources, Microbiology/University of Diyala, College of Agriculture/Chairman.

2_ Prof. Dr. Hayawi and Yoh Attia/Soil and Resource Sciences, Soil Fertility/University of Al-Qadisiyah, College of Agriculture/Member.

3_Professor Dr. Solaf Hamid Timoz/Life Sciences, Microbiology/University of Al-Qadisiyah, College of Agriculture/Member.

4_ Prof. Dr. Lama Saleh Jabbar Al-Taweel/Soil Sciences and Water Resources, Soil Microbiology/University of Al-Qadisiyah, College of Agriculture/Member and Supervisor.

The thesis aimed to investigate the effect of organic and biofertilizers on the effectiveness of the enzymes Cellulosepina -glucosidase and clonamin for the flowering and maturity stages in biomass carbon and nitrogen and the numerical density of fungi for the flowering and full maturity stages, and the effect of organic and biofertilizers on some growth characteristics and yield of broccoli plants.

Conclusions

The addition of biofertilizers, fungal and bacterial fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and seaweed extract, individually or in combination, achieved a significant effect on growth characteristics (plant nitrogen, flower disc weight, chlorophyll content index in leaves, and yield). The addition of seaweed extract, individually or in combination, achieved a significant effect on the effectiveness of enzymes, carbon, and nitrogen in biomass. In the flowering and full maturity stages.

Recommendations

The letter recommended spreading awareness among farmers to use biological and organic fertilizers to increase yields, reduce chemical fertilizers and the resulting pollution, reduce production costs, and conduct further studies on the use of biofertilizers with algae extract and their effect on the effectiveness of enzymes in the soil for the ongoing role of enzymes in most of the element transformations that occur. In the soil.
